EMDR Therapy Refresher CourseComprehensive Review, Problem, Pitfalls and Solutions

Course Overview

Experiencing therapist drift? Took basic training long ago and want a confident refresh? This course returns you to the original, time-tested foundations of EMDR therapy. We’ll deep-dive each of the 8 phases and the three-pronged approach, address common problems and pitfalls, and translate them into practical solutions you can use right away. A blend of lecture, viewing recorded video, interactive group discussions and Q & A will address key teaching points as recognizing readiness for reprocessing, finding
effective cognitions, discern which protocol to use and much more.

Case conceptualization is the key to highly effective therapy but can be an obstacle for EMDR therapists. The 8 Ps of Case Conceptualization through the AIP lens will be explained as a clear framework that simplifies clear, effective treatment planning. Learn from an EMDR expert with over 31 years of experience and walk away re-anchored in the essentials, equipped with practical solutions and ready to deliver more precise, outcome-focused EMDR.
